Dropping 'Lurker Status' Finally

Hi all!
I've been casually lurking here for a little over 6 months since starting to slim down starting in March.
As I transition to maintenance-phase in the next few days I figured I step out of the shadows and say 'Hey'.
As far as a proper introduction-
I ETS'd from the Army in 09', quite fit, and promptly broke my shoulder and a few ribs doing something rather stupid. Then I started college and never got back into the habit of exercising. A few years, last fall, later I had a series of mini-epiphanies. First when I was asked to run a 1600m 'race' for a class (I'm an exercise science major prepping for Physical Therapy school) and running an 8:40 mile pushed me to the ragged edge of throwing up, and beat me down for the next 48 hours. Then a few weeks later I stepped on a scale and found I weighed 190 pounds, 25 pounds more than when I left the military and was pretty strong from heavy lifting and lots of hard work as an infantry medic. Lastly, it dawned on me that eating a Jack-in-the-Box Bacon Ultimate cheeseburger, with Curly fries and a Lemonade wasn't a big lunch.
It was time to get my sh-t straight.
I started by just logging what I ate. Then started eating healthier food, and after a week or so eating less food in general.
I started running again, and doing a moderate amount of body-weight strength training- pushups, pullups, dips, planks and leg-raises.
As my ticker below shows, I've finally lost the 40 lbs I planned to and feel a thousand times better than I did 6 months ago.
I can't say I'll post much, but figure since I plan to be around for a good while, I might as well not be a ghost.
