    I just had umbilical hernia surgery....1 month recovery..then sit ups OK...just get it fixed...1 month wait won't kill you...exercising with a hernia can cause serious complications....

    my boyfriend is afflicted with an inguinal hernia right now and he cant do much without his guts popping out. he's getting surgery next week. i wouldn't suggest doing much until you have it looked at/ recover from surgery. its scary lookin
