What’s Healthy?

Here's the way I see it. Healthy foods and healthy ingredients are those that make your body function better and ultimately help you achieve your goals of burning more fat, building more muscle and having unlimited energy.

That being said, one could argue that even healthy foods can be unhealthy in certain circumstances, and it’s true:

01. Abuse
No matter how honey is a source of unique nutrients that support your immune system, it’s still a form of sugar. If you eat one cup of honey in a single day, you’re certainly not improving your health or setting yourself up for faster fat loss.

02. Allergies
Even foods that are full of essential nutrients can make you sick and wreak havoc in your entire body if you’re allergic or intolerant to them. I won’t get into explanations on how this works, but here’s what you need to understand: Having a food allergy doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll inflate like a balloon after taking a single bite of a certain food.

The effects of this allergy can happen “under the hood” and increase inflammation in your entire body – affecting your hormones, digestion, skin, joint pain, etc. In this program, I’ll let you know every time a certain food is very allergenic is its nature. Then, you’ll be able to test your reactions to that food and determine if you can tolerate it just fine… or if you’re better off avoiding it.

03. Contaminants
Thanks to our modern agriculture, people with biohazard masks and suits spread toxic pesticides on your healthy fruits and veggies to mass produce them and make more money, faster.

Here’s a funny fact to lighten up: Farmers use 80 million pounds of atrazine annually in the United States – the number- one pesticide contaminant in water. But this pesticide is actually banned for use in Europe, where it’s produced.

    Here's how i see it

truly healthy food is that which is made in nature and unaltered.

I do my best to eat foods that are free of additives. It's nearly impossible to avoid them all, but i'm trying. :p

I don't really understand the point of the allergy section? If you have an allergy you can't or shouldn't eat the food. If I eat the food i'm allergic too i'll die. Even if I wouldn't die, the reactions are usually unpleasant and will get worse the more you eat the food. What the point in one bite then?
