parkrun in the USA

Hi

I was looking at parkrun events and noticed that it doesn't seem to be very popular yet in the USA. There are only 3 events to date.

It is becoming quite a big deal over here in the UK - with many, many events all over the country. It is an excellent way to run a 5k timed race each week - for free. It's all run by volunteers.

I am not an advertiser - just someone who enjoys parkrun - it has really improved my running and enjoyment of it.
