Calf Pain

Hey all -

I worked out pretty hard this weekend and I think I tweaked my calf. It doesn't seem to be stretching out and it's painful enough to be limping a little bit until I get going. I haven't worked out since Saturday...

Does anyone have any tips? I never know when to ice or heat or both. I'm running a Tough Mudder in three weeks, so I have to get back out there!

    Ibuprofin and heat. Also, stretch it out a few times / day

    Keep it warm and if you can get hold of a foam roller use it 3 times a day and you will see how quickly it will recover.

    Just for my own know how - should I have iced it when it started hurting on Saturday? When do you ice?

    Ice is for swelling mostly

    Ahhhh ok. Ill have to bring some ice to the tough mudder. I'm sure there will be swelling.
