    lately I've been the boring, almost judgmental type, continuously wondering why people flirt so much or develop crushes.............. I really never look at anyone's profile unless you're one of the very few people that I have on my friends list. Bored, decided to creep some profiles.................... I get it now!

    there are some incredibly beautiful, sexy and very much in shape/fit folks on this website! Both men and women! I get it! I don't know of any other website other than porn that has this much eye candy! So clearly keep up the great work folks cuz everyone looks amazing.

    That being said, after having been assaulted with many a non solicited junk pic on this site in PM's as have many of my lady friends, I can say that junk pics aren't all that welcome...i've seen enough to last me a lifetime.

    (in case you didn't understand me, I'm not saying you have sent me a junk pic via PM or even sent me an unsolicited junk pic. I'm just saying I'm tired of seeing them...seeing them does nothing, it's playing with them that counts.)

Unless you've been through it and understand what it's like to have really really low self esteem I totally get it. I'm not saying that one should focus so much on what other people say but it does help and I've been there.


    I agree. I've had awful self-esteem my whole life, and have never thought much of myself. Thanks to the work I've been doing with MFP, I'm finally starting to find some confidence on my own. However, having someone send a message, out of the blue, telling me I look good is a nice boost to the old ego. :wink:

    It's a receptive audience; many are in the same boat- trying to be comfortable in our own skin while simultaneously trying to lose weight/tone up/etc.

    I'm kind of outside of a lot of that; I'm married 29 years, not really on the make, but not above a little flirting. Just don't take me seriously.

    I don't know so much about going as at as developing crushes ( unless you're single), but innocent flirting does good for the self esteem
