HRM in a spa?

Just wondering. I have a Polar FT7 and don't know where I have put the instruction booklet. Can anyone tell me if it is ok to use in a spa (hot tub). I have sore knees and now a sore shoulder/elbow and plan on going in the spa to do some exercises.
Because its winter here in Aus. I have the temperature up to 38 C - nice nd warm but not sure if the HRM can take the heat.
