Calculated TDEE

Options
I read a post a while back and didnt tag it and am not kicking myself.

This post explained how to figure out your actual TDEE based on the results of your caloric intake and loss over a period of time.

Does anyone know the post or can explain to me how to get that number?

nevermind - I figured it out.

(Weight Lost in a week * 3500/7) + Daily Net Calories

Does not factor in muscle gains.

    it is the following:

    Calories consumed+(lbs lost*3500)/number of days to lose=tdee

this assume correct calories from measuring/weighing food

    for example mine

    38,767+(3.25*3500)/28=1791

You likely aren't having any muscle gains, so don't worry about that. If you want to incorporate lean body mass into the mix, you just have to track BF% as well.

Would also suggest doing it over a longer timeframe than a week, to flush out more variability. At the other end, there probably isn't much benefit in going beyond four weeks.
