Snacks

I am in college, and am always on the go, as well as live in a dorm without a kitchen. Can anyone make recommendations for healthy snacks that are easy to eat on the go?

Thanks!

For me, taking fruit from the dining halls is a daily occurrence. I take that back. Pretty much with every meal. I have quite the nice stockpile hahaha...
Nuts are another one of my favorite snacks, especially almonds. :)

In college here too! I love granola bars, especially the Nature Valley crunchy ones.

Do you at least have access to a fridge? Get some greek yogurt, I LOVE it... get the vanilla greek yogurt, some graham crackers, and dip the graham crackers into the yogurt!! So satisfying. Or even just get any flavor greek yogurt in an individual size

Typical things like veggies (baby carrots, celery, etc) and fruit (apples, bananas, etc) are good options too. Fiber one 90 cal brownies are great too.

Oh, and peanut butter on a plain tortilla rolled up is delicious! Add some jam to make a pb&j tortilla roll up

I've been working on the same thing! I have class from 8-4 with only 20 minute breaks inbetween each one, so I don't even have time for lunch! I try to make a really big breakfast with lots of protein and variety to keep me going for awhile (bfast is at 6am!) and then for snacks I bring snack baggies of wheat thins or triscuits, an apple, and a cliff bar (lil on the calorie-high-side but its my "lunch" when in school all day). Nuts are also an easy on the go snack, any type of healthy crackers, if your not overly concious about processed foods, 100-calorie snack bags work pretty well for me. And bananas! 1 banana has a decent amount of calories, keeps my going during class staying focused, and added bonus doesn't make any noise while eating during lecture lol. I usually end up with about 400 calories left at the end of the day for dinner.

Kind bars are great and have 10g of protein! I haven't tried it just yet but I heard so many people rave about a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with fresh strawberries. I like cheese sticks, and a raw almonds.

I go to work really early in the morning and every second counts.

    My lunches are reliably:

    coffee/thermos (if you do that.)

    vitaweat crackers x 4
bega supertrim cheese slices x 2

    1 pottle yoghurt
    1 piece fruit.
