Prilosec/PPIs and Magnesium Deficiencies?

                    Has anyone heard of this?  I am concerned because I've been on some sort of protein pump inhibitor (i.e. Nexium, Prilosec) to treat GERD for several years.  All the doctors I've had said that PPIs have very few side effects and are very safe.  Low magnesium is no joke!
