Elbow pain after running?

So i was doing something like C25K but halfway the program it got a bit boring so i just started running without walking inbetween.
First time i ran 2K, 2 days later 4K, and now, 3 days ago, i ran 6K.. I was feeling fine but after that 6K run my knee was hurting (but i don't have the best running shoes so i think it was because of that), and now the pain is gone. My elbow was also hurting when i stretched out my arm. 2 days later it was getting a bit better. but today when i move my arm i hear like i slight cracking sound? but the pain is gone..
Anyone else who expirienced this before? is it normal? or do i have to see a doctor..?

Are you carrying anything in your hand like a water bottle? It's possible to get tennis elbow from carrying something while running. If you are not holding anything then it might just be too much arm movement. Your arms should stay pretty much at 90° angles and go straight forwards and backwards a little as you run. Your arms should not cross the mid-line of the chest. Every now and then raise your arms straight over your head and then let them come all the way down and shake them out a bit before going back to a normal position. This is a "posture reset" and helps with proper form.0

I've never had arm pain from running. You also need to increase slow with your distance or you will have injuries.0

The distance was fine, i didn't get pain while running, and i just ran an extra block so, it felt like i was doing good..
No i was not holding anything..
but it took me 50 minutes to ran that 6K and i keep my arms in a good angle, like described in one of the replys, but i'll try to stretch them out and shake them a little bit every now and then next time! thanks0
