Almost fell

This morning I almost fell off the cliff. I have been religiously working out for about a year now, but this morning I got up, got on the stationary bike, started pedalling and immediately just wanted to give up and crawl back to bed. I have never faced such a wall of apathy before but I literally fought through every minute, every dip in my heart rate, until I got to my goal (I aim for a 500 calorie burn measured by HRM each morning). Then I got off my bike and went and did my weight routine, again fighting the urge to give in every step.

It's so weird how our attitudes just switch one day... after a year and a half of hard work and reasonable results, i have one bad weekend, one bad Monday, and just want to give up. This is where my will has to be strongest and I have to fight every negative urge. Hopefully tomorrow my will remains strong enough to keep on going, but I will take it one day at a time.

Just wanted to share in case anyone else has had the same experience.
