PCOS and diet??

I have been blessed with PCOS (I say this sarcastically). What kind of diet should I follow? Hi protein low carb? Diabetic diet? I really have no idea.
Any suggestions would be great!

check the groups for PCOS, there are a couple i belong to that are awsome and knowledgeable.

but usually a lower carb diet helps PCOS as many who have it are also insulin resistant. Excersise is also essential for PCOS as 'diet alone' doesnt usually work for PCOS'ers. If you do more research, you'll also find out PCOS'ers have a lower bmr and tdee than 'normal' people so most of us arent able to lose weight if we eat our excersise calories back.

in the end, do some reasearch and its trial and error. Stick with it, you'll find something that works for you, but be prepared for weightloss to be slow, sometimes agonizingly slow.

I've had it for years. I know I'm fishing an uphill battle. I just need some direction.
