What's meant by 1 cup of cooked rice? Is it 1 cup of a dry rice after it's cooked which will contain about 200 calories?
Or 1/4 uncooked = 1 cup cooked... what is the size of the cup? It's hard to believe after eating 3 cups of cook like in a normal Chinese restaurant contains 600 calories? Unbelievable.

Cooked rice means after it's cooked...i.e. fluffy. 1 cup is 1 measuring cup. If you eat 3 cups of rice at a Chinese restaurant that's a LOT of rice! Like a LOT. I wouldn't be able to move after eating that much rice in one sitting. And yes, rice is calorically "expensive."

Don't use measuring cups; weigh the rice dry.
