So I have a slight dyslexia with numbers (fun fact, it's actually called dyscalculia). I've been eating kind of poorly this week and not tracking my food, and was afraid I'd gain weight. I stepped on the scale ... 168.5 ... and thought, SWEET! My last weigh-in was 169, so I've lost! I get on MFP to check in, and discovered my last weigh-in was actually 166.9, so I've gained.
I've been weighing myself the last couple of days thinking I had been maintaining my weight at 169, when I'd actually gained 3 pounds. If I'd realized sooner that I was gaining, I would have curbed the bad habits. I mean, better late than never, but still ... very FRUSTRATED at myself! I also noticed I was at 168 on September 2 ... It's so disheartening to work for a month and then be right back where you started. It's like it was all for nothing.
