water intake, what counts?

hi,
im drinking about 5 cups of green tea a day plus a pint of water, would the green tea count towards my water intake seen as its calorie free?

Water is H2O....when you change the molecular structure, it is no longer "water"...that said, just stay hydrated....0

If that were the case, diet sodas don't have any calories either... but I'm not sure I'd consider it "water."
I'll admit that I do drink diet sodas every once in a while (one can every few days), but I mostly drink water.
With that said, I never use the water tracker on MFP... I just try to drink a lot of water throughout the day.0 -
It really depends on what your goals are. If your goal is to simply stay hydrated, then don't worry about drinking an arbitrary number of glasses of water per day, and go by other sighs of hydration. The number one sign that I've seen has to do with pee color - pale yellow to clear is good, darker means you need to up your intake.
