Hi everyone. I've been using the app for this site on my kindle for the past 5 weeks and I have managed to lose 13 lbs so far. I have decided to break down my weight loss into mini goals so I don't feel so overwhelmed with what I need to lose. I am 14 lbs from my first mini goal. I do have some health issues that affect my daily life but I do what I can to work around them. I also have the support of my husband, who helps me with whatever I need help with. He's been a rock in my life for over 25 years now and I don't think I could do this without him. I've managed to encourage him to lose some weight as well. I'm so proud of him for trying and it's nice to have someone sharing this journey with me. I also have the support of a few friends and my children. I'm hoping to find others that are like minded that can offer support and that would like support.
I'm a part-time student with the Penn-Foster online program, working towards my certification for medical transcription. I'm nearly finished and hope to be working full time by Feb. We have two dogs, a Great Dane and little yappy mixed breed, two cats and two adorable ferrets that love to annoy the cats every chance they get.
