Mewbie to MFP

Started 9 days ago and love this tool for losing weight and getting fit. I was semi active before but still gaining wieght and am surprised by how simple this is and how it works. The daily encouragement when you close off each day helps as well. I have upped my workouts to 6/week and enjoy the extra cals they offer as well as feeling better from doing more. Down 6 in 9 days and meals already laid out for today.
A friend from here suggested http://www.dietbetter.com as an assist to keep you losingso I joined a small challenge there "Fall back into Shape" Challenge but there are loads of others. I've never done one but it ads an extra factor in losing that weight. If I don't lose 4% for October I am out the $25 but if I am committed, and I am, I keep it and make a bit more.

I have done Protein Power and Low Carb Friends before, along with Bill Phillips Transformation. The workout routine from Transformation is pretty well ingrained and I do resistance 3 or 4times a week along with 3 hours of sports. With the exception of low carbing I have never lost weight this quickly, but I have never watched calories closely either.
