Officially Horrified of Gaining Weight

So I've noticed something that I'm not sure is good, or bad.

The last three or four times before I get on the scale I feel as if I am going to have a mini panic-attack. I am horrified of gaining weight now. I think it scares me more than horror movies did when I was a child!

I recently bought a lot of new clothes for my new size, and while they all have a teeny bit of room I think the fear of not being able to wear them one day has freaked me out.

I watch everything I do and eat, and I'm always right at or under calorie goal. I watch my sodium, and I drink a TON of water. (No diet drinks) I know I'm doing everything right - but I still fear getting on that scale and seeing the numbers go up, or just barely down.

Yikes.

living a healthy lifestyle invloves having a healthy mind. Get your mind right and enjoy your life. you now have the tools to maintain your weight, but from your post it sounds like a borderline obsession....

Obsession can lead to an ED...leads to skinny, leads back to fat....bad cycle.

    Keep your mind healthy.

perhaps get rid of the scale completely since you are doing everything right and just use those new clothes as a guideline to how you are doing :) when they fit well you know you are within your boundaries and when they fit snug it's time to tighten up your eating and be more conscience of your choices.

That scale doesn't define you. And that number means almost nothing. Gaining 2 pounds doesn't make you more or less of a person. It is about living a healthy lifestyle and making good choices.
