I don't know how many posts have been on these boards about "My co-workers are sabotaging me" and "My friends hate me because I've lost weight". Yeah, that's happening. But you aren't the only one. Just like obesity has it's side-effects, so does a life-style change.
You have to be willing to accept the effects of your actions. It just comes with the territory.

I get most of it, but I disagree with her #1. I think it's more that "those" friends ask you to go out with them, you refuse, they eventually figure out you're not going out with them and stop calling. It sounds as if she stopped hanging out with her friends, as opposed to them not hanging out with her. At least that's what it sounded like, to me.0
