When I started on this site the recommended amout to lose was about 200 pounds. I was not discouraged. Everytime I saw 1 pound come off I was convinced mentally that I felt better, slept better, moved better etc. One pound felt like 10 to me it was great.

I used the 30 day shred this week and for the past 2 days my legs, stomach hurt which I know is a good hurt, but I also hurt my back somehow and find it hard to move. I was depressed today because I no longer felt strong but now crippled. Not capable of even bending over to pick somthing up or walk up and down the stairs.

I know it will get better, however for now I feel like crap.

Before you beat yourself up... take time to rest and let yourself recover.

When you do the Shred... don't try to keep up, go at YOUR pace, not the DVD's... you're less likely to hurt yourself and stress yourself out. After your body becomes accustomed to the new routines... then step it up a notch or two.

You're on the right track... on the way to a healthier you!!

I totally understand.....I am totally used to working out 7 days a week, and then I tore my rotator cuff making it almost impossible to work out. SO I lowered my calories, and do the little things I still can...ie...walking a lil etc....And I have still been losing even though Im not working as hard....dont get discouraged you do need time to rest and recoop.....have a lil faith you will get through this tough spot=)

Take some time to rest and recoup..and modify the workout so as not to stress yourself so much

I did the Insanity routine, and after a couple of weeks my wrist was hurting so bad, I couldnt do the pushups, planks etc.....I just modified my routine, so when they were doing anything that required me to put pressure on my hands....I either lifted weights, which suprisingly didnt hurt....or I jogged in place

So take time to recoup...and adjust the routine until you feel well enough to go full force

    Feel better soon

Take it slow and recover. You can do it. I felt the same way when I tore both gluteal muscles. My hips were hurting and popping all the time. I was worried I would never walk right again. But, it has been getting better and it can be better for you too!
