Hey there !:flowerforyou: I am a 22 year old Canadian Pastry Chef. I was always a chubbier kid when i was little, but it developed into an eating disorder when i was about 17. I weighed in at 118 pounds, but was practically starving. Surprisingly i didnt really care about what i looked like, i just wasn't very happy. I had a size 2 prom dress, and then went on to college. Well, as I shortly found out, my mom's cooking is what kept me away from being heavier. So my Freshman 15 was more like .....the Freshman 40...so went up to 158.... which, at 5'6 wasn't that bad. I was still pretty active and walked everywhere. Then I met my boyfriend last year, and now I am up to 185.... I guess we got comfortable.Working in my field, I get to taste test all my desserts, unfortunately my sweet tooth always gets the best of me.... Fast food several times a week and a lot of coffee as i am at work for 6 am everyday. I am just looking for some advice as to where to start! I am also trying to quit smoking, and I dont drink beer. Help me find a way to lose 50 pounds in a year, I want to be healthier and active :D

  • hey there im a Pastry chef too, its hard as hell to loose weight in the industry but you can do it!! if you need any support i can help :) also i carry around a small tsp so i only taste a tiny bit and if its real good i get one of the other pastry chefs to take it away form me before i end up eating everything. Sweets are my weakness too.
