No, I'm afraid not. The District of Columbia is its own territory. It borders the states of Maryland and Virginia. It is an independent political entity, although ultimately under the control of Congress. (I hope most people know this already, but just in case:

But it is only a few miles across, so would probably not be of much use for this challenge.

There is no start date, just whenever and whatever state. Figured it would be a fun type of motivation for people. You can even add more state appropriate foods to your diet while you are walking that state-texas have a little tex-mex or some BBQ/ steaks. Just keep in that calorie goal!0 -
