Hello all!
I finally have hit the wall and need to make changes in my life. I figure that if I get my weight under control then I I can get other things under control. I started out really well, then I went rock wall climbing.... I fell and sprained my foot. Now I am in an air cast.... so now I need to figure exercises so I don't lose momentum.....

Ideas?

  • i don't want to give advice that could hurt you so maybe you should run by advice from a trainer/doctor/physical therapist? im sure there are some upper body exercises and/or pilates moves you could do but i don't know where you are in recovery for your ankle. good luck though and don't get discouraged! x

the best bet is stationary boxing. You kind of stand in a squat and punch your arm straight out in front of you, alternating arms. It gets your heart rate up, basically no movement on your feet if you're in your squat right. Plus it's working your legs (because of the squat)

I would definitely ask your doc if there are any alternatives though.
  • Thank you for the ideas!!
