When I look at my totals for the day, the protein number that I'm allowed seems low but the carb number seems high to me. Why is that?
I wanted to add that I am constantly going into the negative on the protein number. Is that bad, these are the numbers the system gave me, should I adjust?

Bumping this because I was searching as well because I'm consistently past my protein mid way through the day. For ref I am 180 lbs, female, and it says I should be at 54 g protein per day.0

I don't go by MFP's macros. I calculated those numbers on iifym.com and try to hit those each day. Some days I'm a little over or a little under but that's ok.0

Yeah it's low. 40% carb 30% protein 30% fat is a good average number to reach for.0

MFP uses an out of date American Agriculture based diet recommendation. Get much more protein in than MFP recommends and get it from the carbs that MFP recommends.0
