Every morning I work out to Leslie Sansone walk away the pounds DVDs. I have several different ones, the one I'm using right now is Leslie sansone walk at home 3 mile weight loss walk a power walk at home. The 1st mile is 15 min using weights the last 5 min (I use 1 pound hand weights - getting ready to go to 2 pound hand weights), the 2nd mile is 12 min power walk no weights and the 3rd mile is 15 min mile using the weights the whole 15 min then a 3 min cool down and stretching. I have no idea if it is low impact or general. I don't want to cheat myself, if it is general I am burning 297 calories and if it is low impact it is less than that.
Any feed back is welcome

My guess would be low impact but the amount of calories will depend on your current weight and intensity. If you are happy with an estimate, I would use low impact. If you want a more accurate picture of your calories, you would be better off getting a heart rate monitor with a chest strap. If you get one like the Polar FT4 or similar, you can input your height/weight, etc and it will calculate your calories burned based on your heart rate.
Great job for putting in the DVD every morning and moving.
Keep it up!0
