oh no shin splints

hey, I'm really scared about shin splints, like really scared. I mean they hurt at the end of my workout and after the workout I can't even sit like ''japanese style" where my legs are folded under my thighs. It's not yet rest day but should i rest my body just to be sure? Do i need new shoes or something. please help.

    what workout are you doing now?

    seems like it may be time for you to exclude any running or walking workouts for a while.

    is the eliptical, armbike or battle ropes an option?
  • I'm not even running. I'm only doing 30DS and I'm using a soft surface to workout on.

    Don't push through it. I tried that 2 years ago and set me back 8 months. You couldn't even lightly touch my shins without me screaming. Rest, stretch and foam roller.
