Check my diary?

Hello,
I've been trying pretty hard to stick to my calorie goals, with a few train wreck days. But even though I'm eating way fewer calories than I used to be, and exercising way more often, I'm not changing weight or losing inches at all. I know this is common when someone is really close to their goal weight, but still. I'm reporting accurately, as far as I know. Am I doing something wrong in my eating - like, more or less carbs/fat/protein/whatever? Do you have tips on how I can feel fuller or eat less sugar? Are my goals to high or too low? I thought maybe I wasn't eating enough and lowered my metabolism. Anyways, I would love ANY advice you can give me after checking out my food diary!
I'm 18, 5'8, and I'm 138 - my goal weight is 130, but I'm going to see how I feel at 135 - that might be enough. I'm a vegetarian, but I usually meet the MFP suggested amount for protein.

I see several days where you had quite a surplus in calories. The lowest day you had this week you were very low in protein, and didn't meet your goal. Set your goals to be 0.5 lbs per week loss, and meet your macros.

I didn't go too far back, but in the past week you've had several days of being over by 1000 calories or more. This can absolutely undo any deficit you are creating on your good days.
Your protein seems to be set very low, and your carbs high. This won't prevent weight loss, but high protein foods will satisfy your hunger a lot more than carbs will.

I went far enough in your diary to see you have many days in a row when you are eating way more calories than you are burning. I also believe you are overestimating calories burned.

^ All these guys have said everything I was going too - summed it up well! If you are looking at loosing weight, you will have to create a calorie deficit achieved by under eating on calories. I'm a bit worried about those red calorie numbers because they will be the cause of no weight loss...

I assume you are wanting to start this month fresh.

One thing I did notice is that you really need to make sure you buy a food scale and start weighing Sweet Potatoes. I thought a generic 1medium ect was fine, but it turns out when I weighed it, it was 232 grams, which is close to 300 calories, that's a lot more than then 103 calories.

I would definitely spend a week weighing everything like cheese/avocado/beans ect. So you can be sure you're "eyeing" it properly, even using cup measurements can be off.

Why is no one stating the obvious, that 5'8 @ 138lbs is a great weight ... If you have a problem with clothes fitting "right" or feel you are "flabby", then LIFT, STRENGTH TRAIN, don't worry so much about "dieting" ...
