Dieting and Exercising

Options
You need to follow a diet and exercise program that works for you and that you are happy with. Mental well being is very important.

If you feel like a small piece of chocolate now and again, you should have it, if you feel like one glass of wine with your meal you should have it.

It is all about moderation. Life is about moderation.

Overexercising is worse than not exercising at all because you will pick up injuries in the long term and never stick to any exercise program if the program tells you to train too many times a week. I knew a personal trainer who admitted to me that he over trains and that most personal trainers over train.

Different exercise programs suit different people. There is not such thing as one size fits all when it comes to exercise programs or diets. You have to take a particular diet or exercise program and tailor it to suit you.

it's not just injuries. If you reach your goal weight, because you work out 3 hours a day and run one event after another, and thus you actually eat quite a lot of food to fuel your body (as you should), it is likely that issues arise if you get injured or slow down, your appetite doesn't necessarily follow and there is a good chance you regain some weight.

    moderation in everything :-)
