Digital scale not working right

I have the Biggest Loser digital scale at home. I can't remember the brand off the top of my head. When I step on the scale I get a scrolling "0" readout. Some of the time it will show my weight but more often that not it seems to be searching then it shuts itself off without showing my weight. I looked around online and found something that said with this type of scale you have to stand perfectly still or this could be the result. I can't believe I'm moving around that much to cause my scale to act like this. Not to mention I've probably had the scale for about a year now and it just recently started doing this. Ideas? Time for a battery change?

this may not help much but... Throw it away or give it away.

Me being the "look good naked guy" I recommend you use a mirror to gauge progress.

don't drive yourself crazy stepping on a scale everyday and don't use the mirror too often but...

I guess that's easy for me to say since I have only ONE small bathroom mirror in my house

I would replace the batteries and see if that is the problem.
