HELP!!!!!

I need advice. and i'm up for the criticism if needed but can someone take a look at my journal and tell me what i need to change. i've lost 9 lbs but not to be fooled as i was loaded with fluid. i chase salt so i've really tried to curb that and stay within my limits, looking at labels and such. i went down 2 lbs the beginning of the week and this morning i'm back up 2 lbs. i am killing the arc and elliptical in the gym and working with free weights, machines, we are there for an hour or more after our 20-30 min of cardio. please help, i have to break through and i don't know what i'm doing wrong. i would think with the eating changes (nothing fried, no chips, pretzels, doritos, no mt. dews, i've really changed everything!) and the 5-6 days in gym it would be falling off and it's not. i'm really focused but its so confusing to me. anyone??

ps. i just bought jillian michaels 30 day shred and will be doing that in the mornings to boost but haven't begun yet. i did take measurements last night

all and any help is appreciated. thanks!

  • For a week, see if eating a 4: 1 ratio of proteins to carbs helps. Don't worry about the calories because that will probably be low.

your body fluctuates all the time just because 1 day the scale is higher doesn't mean your doing anything wrong.. patience, patience patience.

your sodium was quite high which probably made you retain water. and yeah weight can change through out the week. doesnt mean youve gained 2lb of fat or something so give it time

Make sure you're weighing and measuring everything. When I bought a digital scale, I was amazed at the difference between what "about 2 Tbs of hummus, etc" was compared to weighing it out. With a new workout routine, water retention is a likelihood, so make sure you drink plenty of water. Weight loss will not be linear. I fluctuate anywhere from 1-5 lbs daily. :) Be honest, patient and persistent and you'll not only see a change in the mirror but a change inside too.
