My name is Kera, I had my first baby 7 months ago and was sooooo excited to have my body back. Here I am 7 months post pregnancy and STILL don't have my body back. I got really into exercising and then stopped because I was losing weight everywhere but where I needed it most. Now I am back and excited! It is hard to do it on my own so I am happy I found this website
I am currently doing Jillian Michael's 30 day shred DVD (still on Level 1 - ouch) every day and when I have the energy (which isn't often because I am a mommy!) lol I do pilates or interval running for 30 minutes on the treadmill. I try to eat healthy but sometimes a frozen single pizza is simpler, but a lot of bran flakes and fruit and veg lately
My motivation at the moment is in 29 days I have a wedding to attend and don't want to look like a blimp. My other motivation is my son, I want to be able to keep up with him (currently 171 pounds, 5'6" want to get to 130 lbs) and my old wardrobe!!!! It would be like shopping gone wild if I took out all my old clothes and actually FIT into them!!! I wouldn't know what to do with myself haha x
I am not going to crash diet or eat ONLY fruit and veg and blah blah by the book so-to-speak because I don't plan on eating like that my whole life, sure a lot of fruit and veg and that is good but lets face it, I am only human. I am going to have a midnight snack once in a blue moon or go out to mcdonalds on the weekend once a month. So thats my story!
Hope everyone is doing well with their goals!!!!

Hi, Welcome! I had my baby 17mos ago (my 2nd child & 2nd csection), i'm 37lbs down, 3 to go. It's been a lot of work, lots of dieting and exercising. Last summer I was wearing a size 12 and so desperatly wanted to wear my old clothes, a size 6. But for some reason had the hardest time loosing. I came across this website in March then heard about the 30 Day Shred in April, both thngs have greatly helped me. I am finally able to fit most of my old clothes. I still have a pouch even though i've lost all most all of the weight, but i'm sure in more time it will go down some more. Keep up with the 30 Day Shred it does work!!!! I also recently got a bicycle and bicycle trailer for my kids. I put them in w/some snacks and juice and off we go for 4-5 miles, it has really helped tone my thighs. I am 5'6 also, my goal is 135 (pre-preg weight) and i had gained 40lbs w/my 2nd pregnancy, 46lbs w/my 1st pregnancy. I totally understand your frustration. The 1st time it took me 11mos to loose the weight, this time its been 17mos and i still have 3lbs to go.0

Mama knows! After my first baby, it took 8 months. After number 2, 9 months. After number 3, two years! Number 4 and 5? I look about 5 months preggers still even if the rest of my body doesn't. So, it's been 16 months since my baby was born and I will give it until she is 2 and see what happens. Fear not, it will happen! When your little one can walk and run, so will you be!
Good luck sweetie!0
