Went to the dr today and he told me I have to increase my salt intake. Can someone help me find healthy ways to increase my salt intake?

I don't like the taste of salt.0

Salt is a flavor enhancer and you shouldn't add enough that you can detect it.......crazy concept, but I'm a chef and it goes with the territory.0

Dear lord I wish I had your problem. If I had my way, I would put soy sauce and curry powder on everything. Keeping my sodium down is my biggest food issue. I don't really care too much for the taste of sugary things, but I love salt.0

You should have himalayan pink salt instead of normal table salt.
taken from http://www.undergroundhealth.com/himalayan-pinksalt/ :
"Himalayan Pink Salt is a pure, hand-mined salt that is derived from ancient sea salt deposits. It is believed to be the purest form of salt available.
Beneficial Properties
Himalayan Pink Salt has a rich mineral content that includes over 84 minerals and trace elements such as: calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper and iron. This salt is recognized for its beautiful pink color, high mineral content, and its therapeutic properties.

I have to as well, when I get under 400mg my blood pressure get way too low ( I used to have that at least 4 days every week). So basically when I do a stir-fry I add some drops of fish sauce. I try to add a little salt to my salads (it's not like it requires a lot) and when I bake I add some of that. Luckily it doesn't actually take a lot of salt, at least for me. When it all goes pear-shaped I'll have some Gatorade. Good luck :-)0

You could sprinkle on, say, a pinch (1/16 tsp., about 6% DV) of salt onto something in each of your meals. BUT -- you might check if you have any symptoms of low blood sodium. A low blood sodium level, even as low as 125 mmol/L, can be meaningless if you don't have any symptoms. ALSO -- low blood sodium can be caused by over hydration, so you might check out that.0
