Rotisserie Chicken..

I was looking up the nutrition for rotisserie chicken and I noticed that it is loaded with sodium! If You do not eat the skin (only eat the white meat) does that lower the amount of sodium? I am trying to watch my sodium intake and keep my levels below 2000 which is getting to be difficult.

Quite sure they inject salted water in the chicken too. I know that regular fresh chicken often has sodium in it as well.

no wonder it tastes so good. usually food that has that really good flavor is due to sodium (just like the reason Popeyes has that good flavor :)

Actually you could make it taste pretty much the same by getting one of those bags in the seasoning section where you put your chicken in it, comes out juicy, and quick to make. if you think it retains too much fat, then put in a glass cooking dish, bake with the lid on, but add water and spices and marinade or whatever, and you might like that too. You can buy a rotisserie, but its a lot of work to clean up. You can also buy this item they sell on tv that loooks like it makes an excellent rotisserie type chicken.

Sodium isn't that big of a deal if you drink enough water. :)
