MFP settings???

i just need to be reassured. Are your net calorie goals custom or did you guys allows mfp to set it for you? Also how is that working out?

I let MFP do the calculations for me, but make sure you are honest about your work.daily activity levels...don't include work outs in that bit, there is somewhere else to factor in work outs. Good luck in your journey!0

Generally mine are custom set using the spreadsheet found here:

MFP does it for me, but I make sure update it every single time I lose weight. My allotted calories end up decreasing about 10 or so. I've been on here for 82 days and I've lost 17 pounds.0

I did my own. I go by the TDEE method.0

I started with MFP's settings, and did well with them. But as I lost the pounds and neared goal, my goals changed a bit and I wanted a bit more focus, so I switched to TDEE method and custom set my goals here.

i custominized mine using my BMR and the harris benedict formula.0

Custom, but it isn't very different than what MFP set for me. Only about 100 cal difference.0
