Yes, I know... the last thing the internet needs is another green smoothie recipe. But this one really surprised me by being amazing AND having an entire head of romaine in it. It's basically a meal replacement.
1.5 c orange juice
1 head romaine, washed
Stuff that in the blender and blend it until it's juicified. Then add
1 cucumber cut up a bit
1 c. frozen fruit (I used mango)
2 scoops vanilla protein powder (I use Optimum Nutrition)
1 c. plain yogurt
2 scoops of matcha powder (optional) (I needed the caffeine)
Blend until smooth.
This filled up my blender, so be careful, and it served 2.
376 calories / 60 carbs / 8 fiber / 43 protein / 2 fat / 23 sugar <-- reduce that by subbing water for OJ
