Resting Metabolic Rate Confusion..Please Help!

I just received my metabolic rate results and read like this: RMR: 1803, LIFESTYLE:541, EXERCISE: 182= 2526 KCAL. After taking out 500 calories to lose weight, I'm suppose to eat 2026 kcal. I tried putting that in my goals but MFP has me burning only 2026.
And if MFP calculate your daily burn without exercise I should still be at 2344 cal.

The nutritionist tells me that if my RMR is 1803 I should not eat anything less than that so I need to eat 2026 calories a day even on days I workout. I'm just confused. Please help.

That just means that your RMR is slightly higher than what you'd expect for your weight, height and age, therefore MFP estimates you at lower levels.
If you've gotten actual measurements those trump the MFP defaults. So go with your dietitian's advice.

So you had your RMR measured at 1803 ?

    to which they added 541 for a typical day's living = 2344

    and 182 for the average day's exercise ? = 2526

if all that's true then eat 2526 - 500 = 2026 each day to lose on average.

MFP's estimate isn't as good as your measurement. The 30% added for lifestyle is more than MFP's sedentary setting.

I'm actually taken back at how much calories I'm suppose to eat now then compared to previous weightloss journeys . I was sure something was wrong with their machine, or I should of fast for 5 hrs instead of 4 hr before taking the test, or something. But at the same time I figured I did the test correct because at 1500 calories, i would eat like crazy at the end of the week. smh, Thank you so much for your response. :)
