Is it bad to be low on protein?

    you might start losing hair, I did once. and your muscles really need it if your working out.

    I've learned that if I don't get enough protein I retain water. I don't like meat very much so I use Biochem 100% Whey Protein in my smoothies.
    PS I am doing p90x workouts and I've got to have a ton of protein, so Biochem works for me just fine.

    I use protein powder in my smoothies and I eat high protein breakfast and get protein with every meal. Now I did adjust my goals to 40% protein, 30% carbs and fat. I am fine on everything and 55 low on protein. I have eaten over 100 in protein today. I can't stand to eat any more meat. I am going to blow LOL

    There is no reason for you to consume more than 1g of protein per kilo of body weight or more than 100g per day.

    ditto, 155 grams of protein for one day is crazy! Is it possible for you to do 50 carb, 30 protein and 20 fat?

    That is good to hear. I adjusted the percentages where it is closer to 100 g. I thought 155 was high myself. Thanks all!
