A fresh start

At my highest weight loss, I had lost 101 pounds. As of this morning, I've gained back 40 of it. A few months ago, I went through a divorce and it just set me into a tailspin. Add that to a foot injury that's been preventing me from running, and it's not been pretty.
I need to get back on track. I want to get back on track. I'm tired of feeling the weight that's come back. I'm tired of not feeling healthy. I'm tired of having to get in bigger clothes.
Tomorrow, October 7, would have been my 13th wedding anniversary. But instead of focusing on that, I'm trying to look at it as a fresh start. Definitely needed.

First off I just wanna say it's nice to see another Yankee living in Fort Worth. Still not happy about it being so chilly today!
Congrats on using tomorrow as motivation and not an excuse! In a year from tomorrow you will be celebrating your 1 year anniversary of becoming a healthier, happier you. You deserve it!!0 -
I'm in the same situation as you, lost weight and then gained some back. After I had my son I was up to 220, and lost 60 lbs! But, I gained 20 of it back...so I was at 180. I go through bouts of "motivational periods" but here lately I'm feeling unstoppable. I started two weeks ago, and I'm been super disciplined so far. I've lost 12 pounds already (started at 180 down to 168 now). I actually went out to eat with family and managed to NOT order a margarita and a greasy dinner. Best of luck to you, you can do it! Hope to see some movement on your ticker soon.0

Welcome back!
I'm a nurse who wants to move to Texas.
I'm in the middle of a divorce and my 23 anniversary is October 14.
You can do this! Is your foot fully healed?0 -
No, I hurt my ankle first and now I've developed plantar fasciitis. Trying to be a "good patient" and do what I need to do with stretching and wearing a splint at night so I don't have to pay $500 for custom orthotics!0

Glad to hear you haven't given up. We all have setbacks, including me. Gained back 20+ pds but determined to take off this 65+ pounds sitting on my back. I am here for you.0
