So I have been trying to think of new things to fix for dinner, but of course I find myself fixing the same things over and over again since I know they are good for me and my family. I had the idea to make this post and ask anyone who would like to share their favorite healthy & yummy dinner recipe. I usually make a lot of baked chicken, steamed broccoli, and baked potatoes. I do have younger children who are very picky so I try and stay away from seafood. Please give me some ideas!

My children actually liked shrimp when they were young although not other fish unless it was breaded. Spaghetti with turkey meatballs is a big favorite and if you make your own sauce you can fill it with tons of veggies they might not otherwise eat. Another favorite was chili (not too spicy) that I made with tons of veggies (green and red peppers, onion, carrots celery) and three different beans and only a little lean ground beef or bison. Another thing to get kids to eat things they may not normally is to have a make your own taco night. Put out bowls of various veggies and cheese and different meats and maybe even fish. Children come up with some unique combinations and at times surprise you by eating things you never thought they would take.0
