Hey guys, I just bought a magic bullet and it's arrived today! I am keen to get into making smoothies but I don't know what goes with what! Does anyone have any awesome green smoothie combinations?
 For now I am stuck with spinach and berries!

I've made one using fresh baby spinach, kale, apple juice, lemon juice, and frozen bananas. Not sure exactly how much to put in (I just kind of wing it) but it was absolutely delicious!0

I just started making green smoothies myself. I wanted to try and eat more green veggies, but I really don't like much other than salads. I made one today that was pretty good, but that may need some tweaking:
1/2 cup of dry oatmeal (put it in first and blend into a powder so your smoothie isn't clumpy)
2 cups of spinach
2 bananas
8 oz of apple juice
10 ice cubes
Total 477 calories, but comes out to be about 2 12 ounce servings.0 -
For a Bright Green Smoothie:
2 handfuls spinach
1 frozen banana
1 handful frozen peaches
1 handful frozen mango
For a Chocolate Green Smoothie
2 handfuls spinach
1-2 frozen bananas
2 tbs (or to taste) coco powder
1 tsp(or to taste) agave syrup
Blend away, I think both are delicious.0 -

8 oz orange juice with banana flavor NO PULP!
8 oz Silk with coconut flavor

3 cups of spinach, half a banana, 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt plain (0 fat or 2% fat), half a cup of water and 3-4 strawberries...sometimes I add a teaspoon of honey... fills me up! and I get 3 cups of spinach! If I feel I'm going over my calories that day I cut the banana and honey....put in a pretty glass with a straw!0

depending on how many servings you are making:
Kale
Spinach
Pineapple
Frozen strawberries
apples
celery
cucumbers
a small amount of water
We have these every day. They are really good, you might need to get used to the thickness of them but, once you get past that you will start to crave them. Very good!!0 -
I take fresh spinach, a cucumber, tropical fruit mix from Walmart, water, protein powder, and water. YUM! The cucumber makes it absolutely refreshing and delicious! I also add all of my vitamins and such in the blender as well. :drinker:0

My go-to recipe with minimal ingredients:
Makes 2:
2 cups almond milk
1 banana
2 cups spinach
1 cup frozen pineapple
6 oz plain greek yogurt0 -
I just started doing green smoothies as well. I use them as a meal replacement in the mornings.
The one I liked the most was
banana
Mixed tropical fruits
kale
Spinach
Chia Seeds
Hemp Seeds (Raw and shelled)
ice and water
you can add more water depending on how thick you want it. I drink this one about every morning and Chia really helps keep me full until my mid morning snack lol0 -
My all time favorite green smoothy is a handful of spinach and 6-8 oz of orange juice or a large juicy orange (better than juice). Buzz until smooth and frothy. Simple and delicous.0

Here’s a recipe I like…
2 - 3 cups of Spinach
1 Banana
¼ cup of Old Fashioned Oats
½ cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 tbsp of Coconut Peanut Butter (Earth Balance) OR;
About 10 Walnuts w/ Cinnamon (to taste)
Ice
I drink one every morning and before an afternoon workout if I need a boost0
