What has Green Tea done for you lately??

"They" say green tea is really good for you. I would like to know you what YOU think of it, and if it has helped you. I had my first cup of it over the weekend and it wasn't bad. I could see myself drinking it more often if I hear good things about it.

Do tell :)

Thanks Dianna

I went through a green tea phase but my red wine phase has lasted longer.

It's all cutting back on the intake and moving the limbs a bit more, and anything else is just details as far as I can work out. ;)
  • It curbs my apetite which is enough for me! If i feel like I'm hungry I will first drink some green tea to make sure it is not just thirst and it is also just very comforting to drink. I can only get down the green tea with lemon because i do not like the taste of plain green tea. i drink 4-6 cups a day and feel like it can keep me from going overboard with how much i eat.

I love green tea for all its benefits! It speeds your metabolism and helps against diabetes, cancer, cholesterol, its also said to help the brain recover from damage after stroke.

I drink green tea pretty often. It's not a miracle cure and only really has an effect if you're eating healthy anyway. But the plus is that it's a 0 calorie, very healthy drink that you can even count as 1 cup of water. It also gives a tiny boost in detoxing/fat burning since it has a lot of antioxidants. Also, maybe this is just me, but I find that it helps stop my cravings...I'll have a cup of green tea, sometimes with honey, and I have a 0-calorie entry (unless I have honey, in which case it's still not a lot of calories) where I would have had a whole bunch of calories had I followed my craving. But as with everything, it's only a boost - and a small one - and won't fix anything by itself. It's still worth it in my opinion, especially considering what I would have eaten or would have had to drink otherwise!

If you like green tea for the taste then drink it. It doesn't melt fat, speed up your metabolism or any other magic feature. It's much better for you than having a soda but don't expect miracles.

You need to drink something like 12-15 cups of green tea a day to get any of the "metabolism boost" benefits that it is supposed to have.

I like green tea but I also like tea in general.

It has a lot of benefits as far as metabolism, fighting cancer, etc., however I just enjoy drinking it. I'm sure it's helping me because I feel great.

As for me, I tend to like the taste of green tea, so I drink it.
