Hi all,

I want to track my strength training with the app, but don't know how to log them - any ideas? Anyone doing YAYOG with the app?

If you use a HRM to you can track your calorie burn reasonably well. Create the exercise it if isn't in the database and enter in the calorie burn there.

Under Cardiovascular I use "Circuit training, general" and put the time in.

Under cardiovascular exercises you can search for calisthenics and you get three results, vigorous effort, light/moderate effort and water aerobics. I generally use the first two depending how hard the session is.

Under cardiovascular exercise there is "strength training". That's what I use, but I also have a HRM which says I burn more calories then the pre sets in MFP.

What I did was break away from the MFP calculators, altogether, and used the equation and multiplier provided in the YAYOG book. I then just write that number and the the Week / Day numbers for the workout I did that day in the comments portion of my calorie tracker. Then I log only non-YAYOG exercises on MFP.
