Hi everyone!
A few questions about my diet and workout routine!?!
First thing, I'm 5' 3", 24 years old, 134lbs. I started working out and eating clean mid August. Since then I have lost about 11 pounds (about 7.5 weeks, 145lb to 134lb), however, i'v seem to stop losing weight and I'm kind of at a plateau. I do know that muscle weighs more than fat, and I am definitely building muscle, however I cant seem to lose the excess fat. A few things you should know... :
1. I eat 1200 calories a day (give or take 50 to 100) on non work out days
2. I eat around 1500 calories a day on workout days
3. I juice 1 to 2 meals a day (I do my best to account for the calories and sugar intake and limit fruits, mostly veg). I eat 5 small meals a day (this includes the juicing). I stay away from breads, pastas, rice, etc. Usually eat 2-3 cups of spinach with lunch and dinner as my side dish and some kind of protein (ie. 4 oz salmon fillet, 4 oz chicken breast, etc). I eat oatmeal every morning (160calories) and a protein shake or nuts and raspberries pre work out.
4. I usually do a 3-5 minute warm up then do weight training (with dumbbells only) for 20 ish minutes about 2-3 times a week. Then I do Cardio (ie. treadmill or elliptical for about 20 minutes, then a 3-5 minute cool down).
5. My weight training work out consists of lunges, squats (both with 2 8lb dumbbells), and then 3-4 different arm workouts (10-12 reps, 3 circuits).
6. I drink approx. 64 - 80 ounces a day of water.
How should I adapt my meals or workout to lose more fat and get a more toned body??
THANK YOU!

You definitely sound like you are doing everything right, usually to get over a plateau you actually need to start eating more & working out less or maybe more or at least trying something new. What you are doing is great however your body is now probably totally used to it! You need to shake things up a bit & you should start seeing some progress0
