How do you track weight training

I put it in, but calories don't get calculated. help.

I track mine as circuit training under cardio. This way it tracks it.0

Where you click "Add Exercise" (cardio), you can search for it there, but search for "strength training". Circuit training involves cardio (think Curves), and will VASTLY overestimate your calorie burn, by about 300+ calories/hour. That being said, I log all my training as 1 calorie burned because MFP tends to overestimate, in general. (Even HRMs are practically useless for lifting.)0

In the database if you search for 'weights" under cardio there is an option for general weight training/weight lifting. Not sure how accurate it is, but it's what I use if I opt to use the weight machines since I don't do free lifting, yet.0

However, beware, the MFP exercise calorie estimations are high. I also track it under cardio but it has over 100 calories for 30 minutes of weight training, which does not sound right. I log it in as half those calories.0
