hypoglycemia?

I thought this was normal but apparently not. If I have a heavy carb meal or sugar about 2 hours later I feel like I am going to pass out, dizzy, sweaty. Have to stuff a sugary snack down immediately to ease these feelings which is not doing much for my calorie controlled day. I know this can be solved by eating low carb but sometimes it cannot be done easily (as happened on the weekend and had toast for breakfast as was not home).
Anyone else get this? as was wondering what would actually happen if I did not eat when this happens, would I actually pass out?
and yes have an appointment to see a doctor

No, you'd better eat something or you'll just feel worse, I think.
I get bouts of feeling that way that probably isn't actual clinical hypoglycemia for me. Mine's not low enough for that, but I feel the same way you describe (and nauseas, usually). For that I can eat a few peanuts and feel better. Or a cube (or string) of cheese. I think I just need to eat a little something, although I'll say an apple doesn't seem to hit the spot very quickly for some reason.
You might not need actual sugar, and you might not need much to eat, but don't try not eating anything. You could end up feeling really, really bad and it might even be unhealthy if yours is a clinical problem!0
