Heel Spur?

So I've had Planter Fasciitis before and it took months to heel enough to where I wasn't in pain every morning but I think it's coming back due to working alot (I'm on my feet all day) and I started running 3 days a week the previous 3 weeks. So I put planter fasciitis insoles in my work shoes and any shoes I wear when I'm not at work. It's not that, that is bothering me, but it's that I now think I have a heel spur in my right heel because if I move a certain way I get a burning pain in my heel different from the planter's pain. I wonder if it ever goes away? If I can exercise? I can't stop working but I won't pick up to work anymore than I already do until it heals (if it heals if that's what it is). Does anyone have any experience with this pain? It's not constant, but it is annoying and I don't want to run on it.

It's probably still related Get more aggressive with your PF treatments, like even better support -- a brace for it is good, and make absolutely sure that your running shoes + insoles have enough support. You might try taping the arch, too, for when you run (later). The brace I like has a gel bubble in it that literally wouldn't let my arch stretch like it used to because the bubble is under my arch. I hope you can picture that, lol.
All those stretches and icing that folks recommend are important, too. And try a night splint.
If you can give it at least a week before you run again, that's best, I think. Of course, getting it checked out by a doc is best Heel pain and PF go together, though, so I think your PF might just be showing a new side of itself Take care.0 -
I get the same problem It helps if I work out in my sneakers with those fancy insoles they charge $400 for but I hate wearing shoes when I exercise. They have to x ray your foot to be sure you have them. I ice my feet after exercise and I wear shoes when it acts up.0

Thanks I'm currently looking for some braces and I did get new running shoes that aren't as flexy. I wear the nike free runs, love them but they might be part of the problem so I'll stick an insole in them that is firmer when I use them. Currently looking for a good podiastrist, but I don't think there is much they can offer me0 -
I've fought problems for years because of my high arches. If your inserts don't fit right, they can cause more problems. I finally went to a podiatrist and got some that work. It also helps to roll your feet on a bottle about the diameter of a tennis ball - I do it in the shower.0
