OMG!!! I might becoming a regular girl!

Something that I'd call weird just happened.
Yesterday I went shopping for new clothes in a store that I like. I know the clothes it sells very well, know the sizes I'm supposed to fit in, depending on the kind of clothes and how the cut and fabric are going to look on me. They sell regular and plus sizes clothes. I've been shopping here for years.
So, I just picked 2 or 3 items that I liked of the rack, thinking I'll try them at home and will exchange them if they don't fit; wich never happens with something coming from that store.
Anyway, all of them fitted except a dress that happened to be too big. First surprise! I recon it's a dress made from a very loose fabric that would probably look too big on a lot of people. But, still, I really needed a smaller size. A size 42 (US 12, UK 14). A MEDIUM SIZE!!!
I'm off the plus size clothes!!!!!
This morning, I took the dress with me at the office to go exchange it at lunch hour.
A co-worker saw the dress in the bag and wanted to look at it. She asked: "Do you mind if I try it on? I'd might buy it from you; it's a very nice dress!"
SAY WHAT?!
She's a very good looking girl, curvy but I consider way thinner than me and she appears to think me might fit in the same clothes...
She tried it on and it was just a little bit bigger on her than it was on me.
She offered to come with me at lunch so I can exhange the dress and she can buy one for herself! IN THE REGULAR SIZES RACK! With a coworker I consider thin. TO BUY THE SAME DRESS IN THE SAME SIZE!!!!
I would probably have cried of emotion if I had not been at the office.
IT's an AWESOME DAY!

Congratulations! and well done.
I remember the feeling after I lost the bulk of my weight too.
When I was at my biggest I wouldn't even enter 'the skinny shops' on the high street - my boobs (and bum) would barely fit through the door never mind in the clothes
I dramatically dropped around 4 years ago and I still get excited shopping in the 'skinny shops' and I can mostly order with confidence online too.
Go you! I think it's reason to order mountains of new clothes now0 -
I was cold, at a friends house, and she lent me a sweater. HER sweater. a NORMAL sweater. Not her husband's huge sweater that's too big for him, even, but HER OWN NORMAL SWEATER. It was soooooooooo weird. I always used to say "oh no, i'm fine, thanks, not cold at all" to avoid the embarrassment of being given a sweater that was too big for anyone in the house, and yet too small for me.0
