P90x help!

Hi everyone! I've been using this site fore about a week now, and I love it so far!
I'm posting, because I have gotten myself into quite a doozy. Any help would be very much appreciated!
I started Day 1 of my very first cycle of P90x (Lean) the day after I finally purchased some whey protein powder (last piece of my puzzle!). Unfortunately (IMO), my first day landed on a Wednesday Ideally, I wanted Sunday to be Day 1, because that works better for my schedule. With that in mind, the first P90x workout I did was Yoga X. I followed the schedule for the next two days (with Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X, and then Kenpo X) when I read tips from various users on these forums, which got me sold on the notion that I would benefit more from the Classic version. Luckily, the workouts I had already completed are identical for the first 3 weeks of both Lean and Classic, so I didn't need to start all over again
However, the way things played out, I would be getting a rest day (or do X Stretch) after only 3 workouts; I really didn't believe I earned nor needed a rest day, because I haven't done enough yet, plus I've been feeling really energetic since I began following the portion plan (at times, TOO energetic and alert - I had trouble sleeping last night:yawn: ). And whenever I look at the schedule, I'm ridden with guilt because I missed Days 1-3.
After pondering several ways to get my schedule in order, I came up with a solution... that for each of the 3 rest days I have in the first 3 weeks, I will do one of the 3 workouts which I had previously 'skipped.' Today I did Chest & Back, Ab Ripper X, and X Stretch.
Basically I am just wondering it this is okay (I really hope it is. I'll rest week 4, I swear!)

Looks great. I've been through the P90X program almost a half dozen times. One thing that I can tell you is as long as you push play 6/7 days a week, no matter which DVD you use, you will benefit in some way. You also need to listen to your body! One thing that Tony preaches about in his One on One DVDs is that you need to listen to what your body is telling you that day. If you're feeling great on a stretch day, maybe substitue. If you don't feel like Yoga, maybe lift some weights. As long as you stick as close as you can to the regimine, you'll find that tweaking it a little is a good thing.0

Do you have a Beachbody coach? A good friend of mine from high school is a coach for Team Beachbody and specializes in the P90X workout. You can sign up to find a local coach in your area so if you need help! The best part it is all free!!! I can tell you if you wouldnt feel comfortable with just talking to anybody try my friend. She is a really awesome down to earth girl who would love to help you with all of your questions!!! Her site is www.teambeachbody.com/cjpace

Being that you are in week 1, it will not matter if you did the workouts "out of order" or if you feel that you skipped days 1-3. That's a super small fraction of the entire 90 day period. As long as you did something you will still see great results. Don't worry and keep pressing play! P90X is amazing.
If you really want to focus on the schedule, just change to what it should be (today) and keep going forward from that. It will not mess anything up - do your best and forget the rest.0
