So, I've been sick for two weeks so my training has taken a backseat, but this last weekend I managed to run my 5K in 30 minutes. Then at my baby bootcamp today, two of the women I've been working out with noticed that I've been looking slimmer, "especially from behind"! My work/painting jeans can now slip off and on without me having to undo them.

And today I weighed myself and I've gone from 165 to 148.5 pounds in the last 6 weeks! At 5'3", I'll hit my healthy BMI at around 140, so I'm pretty happy right now and I can finally see my short term goal in sight! Next up - hitting the mid-range of my healthy BMI at 130.

Oh and I won a month pass to a great circuit training class at my husband's dojo so I'm hoping that'll help me push through any newbie plateaus I've got coming my way.

I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. I feel better than I have in YEARS. I'll take some photos when I hit my healthy weight range.

    Wow! Great job! It still takes me around 45m to finish 5k.
